It has been almost 4 months since my emancipation from being a student, and boy do I miss it :). Working obviously has its advantages of getting a salary, but somehow now you look back on your life as a student and wonder how you used to survive because before you know it, your salary is almost used up. As time wears on though, I personally find that you get better at managing the new independence- budgeting, paying bills, juggling social life and the obligation of knowing that you MUST go to work (the sweet options we were afforded as students no longer exist). For those of us who haven't yet found a job, don't give up - U never made it this far to quit now!
